We went to the Toronto Zoo last week and it was a blast. They didn't have some animals since their habitats were being reconstructed but it was still fun. Kendall loved the elephants, hippos, and monkey's. Camden was just thrilled to see the geese walking around everywhere!

New Siding on House

We had a huge work day last month of kids from our youth group who came and helped tear down all of our old siding. We had a dumpster that they filled very quickly and were a huge help in getting us started on re-siding our new house. Here are some pictures of the work day, old siding, and new siding. The one of Trevor holding up the piece of siding is him putting up the last piece on the house. I am so proud of his for doing it by himself. Thanks to everyone who helped it happen and taught Trevor how to do it all.

Update on Kids

Sorry it's been so long since a post. We still don't have the internet at our new house yet but hopefully soon and then I will post a lot more often. The kids are doing great. Camden is 9 months old now and he is teething big time, almost walking, and weighs 2 pounds less than his older sister. He will definitely pass her by pretty soon. Kendall is doing great. She is starting to push the limits as all toddlers do. Yesterday she was singing "Jesus Loves Me" while sitting in the shopping cart at the top of her lungs and I thought about telling her to stop but then I figured if people heard the song maybe they would get a little Jesus in their lives! So I let her go. But they are so much fun. Changing more and more each day. The one of Kendall lying next to the bed is a funny story as well. I went in to check on her at night before I went to bed like I always do and she wasn't in her bed when I looked in and I panicked until I looked down and saw her sleeping on the floor. It was too cute not to take a picture of.

Tree Stump

We had to get a tree stump ground up the other week. A tree fell over before we bought the house and a neighbor cut it all down. So Trevor and Kendall were out there raking it out and bringing all the mulch to the back yard. It has been so nice out here this past week. We were both on vacation last week so we got to work around the house a bit.

Camden is Crawling

Well it's official! Camden has mastered crawling. For a while now he was just army crawling but last week he finally figured out the leg part of it! It is getting crazier in our house since he is more mobil and can get into more things. Kendall is not liking it since he is starting to mess with her books and toys. But she will get used to it. I'm trying to teach her to call me if he is bugging her and not just yell at him to get away. We'll see if that works! Ha.

Hey Everyone -
We are finally moved into our first home! We are so excited to finally be in. It was a long and growing process but God has blessed us in the end for our patience. Here are some photos of it so far. There is still a lot more work to be done especially on the outside so I'll put updated photos up later of that progress. Thanks for all of your prayers they have been so helpful.

Update on Kids

Kendall...wow where to start with this girl. She is just too smart for our own good! She is still a little peanut and not growing hair very fast still. People keep telling me that it will come. I'm still waiting but not holding my breath. We are going to see Sesame Street Live on Saturday. So I will update more about that next week sometime. She loves to sing, read, watch the disney channel, color and so much more.
Camden will be six months already on the 10th. I can't even believe how quickly time is flying by. He is growing like a weed and soon will be heavier than Kendall! Yes it's true. He is starting to army crawl everywhere to get where he wants to go. He is also starting to steal kendall's toys and she is not too thrilled with that. He just found out he can make a "b" sound so all we have been hearing lately is bah bah bah bah. So that is fun! The biggest achievement to report on is that he is finally sleeping through the night! Thank you Jesus! It only took 6 months but he has finally mastered it. So we are finally catching up on some much needed sleep.
Still no final news on the house purchase. I'll update more on that when I can.

Play Time

Kendall is a major book worm which is good I guess except when she wants you to sit and read to her all day long and doesn't let you get anything else done around the house. She will pile up the highest pile of books and "read" to herself pretty well too. She knows all the names of books and you can hear her "reading" and saying words that we say on the pages. It is really cute. She also wants to play with whatever Camden is doing. She doesn't like when he has fun with out her. So here is her trying to be under his gym with him at the same time.

Still Homeless...

Well we are still waiting for our house to close. We are starting to think that it might never happen. It is getting very frustrating. My parents have been great to let us live with them it's just hard to stay consistent with the kids with 4 of us watching them and I feel bad letting the baby cry at all during the night so we are back to feeding during the night which isn't what I would like to be doing. So please be praying that it all happens soon so that we can have our own home and settle down finally. Thanks! Oh yeah and my parents don't have the internet or a computer so we can't post as much as we would like. I'll do it from work when I can.

Homeless at Christmas

Well, the house we are planning to buy still hasn't closed and we need to be out of the house we are living in this weekend. So we are homeless for the holidays. Boo Hoo! We are going to be moving in with my parents for a while until this all works out so I guess we aren't really homeless but it feels like we are very unsettled. Please be praying that we still can get the house and that we can close soon as soon as possible.

Our mornings usually start at 7:00 around here which isn't too bad I must say. Kendall loves to snuggle with Daddy when he is up. He usually is the one who gets to sleep in since I have to feed the baby anyways. So he is the lucky one who gets to sleep in. Then he usually transfers to the couch with Kendall.

Kendall's 2nd Birthday

We still can't believe that Kendall is 2 years old now. These two years have just flown by. She is such a smart girl. She knows all her colors, she can do some harder puzzles, she sings all her nursery rhymes and sunday school songs, and is even wanting to get herself dressed. Sometime she comes out with her pants on backwards but she gets them on. Kendall wanted a Mickey Mouse cake for her birthday. She was so excited to blow out the candles that she blew them out as soon as we started the song. And then we had to sing the song 4 times so she could do it again. It was a really great party. Thanks to everyone who came and shared in her special day.

I know that this looks so funny but I'll post the whole picture later when I get it. At Rush Hour tonight which is our High School program at the Hub they had a pirate night and Trevor had the best Jack Sparrow costume I have ever seen. The great thing about it is that he put it all together in parts and didn't just buy a already made pirate costume. This is afterwards when he thought that he looked mean and scary with the eyeliner and gotee still on. He definitely looks more like a rock star that's for sure.

Thanksgiving Day

I forgot my camera when we went to my parents house for dinner but I did get a picture of Kendall watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade that morning. She loves parades and was loving all the characters, balloons, singing and dancing. She is definitely going to be a performer of some sort when she is older. Camden is also smiling more and more and starting to coo and make lots of noises. I love watching them go through all these life stages. He is such a blessing.

Snuggle Time

I set Camden into Kendall's crib the other night while I was tucking her in and praying with her. The only problem was that she didn't want me to take him out. She wanted to sleep with him. I told her that maybe when they were older that they could snuggle together but that he was still too little. She understood but it was so sweet that she wanted to snuggle with him. She does so well with him. I am so very proud of her!

Happy Halloween

Well we made it through another Halloween night now with two kids to dress up and take out. Kendall all week was saying "no Nemo" so we didn't think we would be able to get her to put on her Little Nemo costume but we kept telling her that if she wanted to go and get candy then she needed to wear it. After a few houses she was loving every minute of it and wanting people to give her more than one piece of candy. Camden slept most of the time but he was in his little pumpkin pajamas. I was holding his little basket so that I could still get some candy to eat! We also carved some pumpkins at the last minute this afternoon while Trevor and I were both home all day with the kids. Trevor did one with the stem as the nose which turned out really cute. Hope you all had fun as well.

Great Pumpkin Farm!

While Grandma and Grandpa were here we went up to the Great Pumpkin Farm which was pretty fun. The only thing was that it was really windy and that made it kind of cold so we couldn't really take Camden out for any pictures but here are a few from our visit. There are two that look the same but one is from last year and one is from this year. It measures how big they were at the Pumpkin Farm from year to year. We'll have to start Camden next year.

Trevor's mom and dad left yesterday to go back to Wisconsin. It was fun to have them here all week to help with the kiddos. It was a little vacation for us. Here are some more pictures of our week. They brought them some Green Bay Packer outfits so we had to get a picture with them all in their football gear! Also, Grandma took a great picture of Camden so Trevor made it into a black and white and did a little in photoshop to make it look cool. I think it's a great picture.

Trevor's parents are here this week. They haven't seen us since last Christmas and it's the first time they are seeing Camden. We are having a great time with them. They are loving the kids all up and spoiling them with presents since they don't get to all the time. Apple Picking!

We went apple picking today with friends from church. It was 84 degrees outside today so it sure didn't feel like apple picking weather but we went anyways. It was a lot of fun however a lot of the trees were bare already probably for 2 reasons. One, we had like no rain this summer so they said their crop was really low this year. Secondly, because we went a little later than we normally do in the fall so we only had a few types to choose from. Kendall had fun picking them off the trees and then trying to eat them all. We also cut some grapes off the vines and she ate a ton of those sitting in the wagon. Down the street from the apple orchard they had a giant pumpkin farm so we stopped to check them out. The pumpkins in the picture were huge and really expensive so we just looked around. I love the Fall!

Big Sister Kendall

Kendall likes to read books to her little brother. I don't have the heart to tell her that he has no clue what she's saying. Actually neither do I half the time since she mostly babbles and throws a few words in here and there. But it is still cute to say the least. I can't wait to see how they interact as they get older. It will be fun to watch and I am sure I'll be breaking up some fights over toys before I know it.

Camden's First Bath

Here are some pictures of Camden's first bath a few days ago. He likes the water a lot just like Kendall does. Just be praying for him. He's really gassy and spits up a lot like Kendall did and seems like he is in pain. I think it might be acid refllux. Just pray that we figure it out soon so that he will be a happier baby soon.

Trevor put Kendall in the tree in front of our house. She loved it and was smiling as big as can be as you can see from the picture below. Mommy's Little Helper

We had a weight check at the doctors today for the baby and he is doing well. He isn't quite back up to birth weight but real close so they are happy with that. Kendall is still loving being a big sister most of the time. She just doesn't understand why I can't carry her a lot yet but I can carry him. It's hard to explain surgery to a 2 year old. Here is a picture of her helping put his binky back in his mouth (even though I don't think he is going to use them since he spits them out a lot).

Well we have survived our first week with two kids. We are needless to say exhausted and in need of some sleep but other than that we are making it by. Kendall is doing well with her new brother taking over the house. She so far is just in awe of him but I'm sure that will change and they will be fighting over stuff before we know it. Camden Joel Kaufman

Well he's arrived healthy and beautiful. His name is Camden Joel Kaufman. He was 8 pounds 5 ounces (yeah bigger than I thought he'd be) and 20 and 1/2 inches long. He was born on Monday afternoon at 12:14 PM. Everything went well with the c-section. I was much better this time recovering since I didn't go through hours of labor before hand like I did with Kendall. Speaking of Kendall she is so excited to be a big sister. She tries to share all her toys with him and doesn't quite understand that he can't do all the things that she can do. Hopefully she'll understand soon enough. We are exhausted and worn out which is to be expected but we are just remembering that it's for a short time and then it should get better. (It does doesn't it?) Ha. I'll talk to you all soon.

We are heading in to the hospital this morning for my c-section. I was going to go in next week but I've been having some contractions throughout the weekend and am really uncomfortable so since this was when they wanted to do it anyways I'm going to go in now. Cookout at the Burns House!

We went for a cookout at Jake and Betsy's tonight. Jake's parents are leaving tomorrow to go back to Arizona. They've been here to help with Becca and Rachel while they figure out all this medical stuff. So that's been a huge blessing. We had a fun time though it got a little cold by the end of the night. It's feeling a bit more like fall around here the past couple of days. But I love fall so that's ok with me. Kendall and Becca were having a blast playing in the dirt and rocks. They were filthy by the end of it all. Here are some pictures from the night! Betsy caught me taking a picture of the group and decided to stick her tongue out and I didn't even notice until I uploaded the pictures. Ha.

Kendall decided to try to walk around the house in Trevor's shoes this morning. She is a shoe girl but what girl isn't. We were at Target the other day and she sat down in the isle I was looking at shoes in and she took off her sandals. Then she proceeded to pull different shoes off the shelves and tried them on. It was so funny. They were obviously way too big for her but that didn't seem to bother her.

Fisher Price Toy Festival

Fisher Price headquarters is right here in Buffalo and this weekend is it's big toy festival. Kendall and I went with my sister today for a little while. They had a parade, a carnival, food, toy sale and more. We didn't last a real long time since it was like 90 degrees outside and I'm nine months pregnant! But we had a good time. Pranked!

Trevor has been working really hard on his Enemy Opposition truck trying to get it ready to get their own logo put on. He spent days now peeling off these striped stickers so that it was back to just a white truck. I woke up this morning and looked out our window and saw this. It was so funny. Some youth from The Hub had pranked us last night and put sticky notes and cookies all over it and also put some duct tape stripes back on. It was quite clever! Here are some pictures of it. I'll put a picture up of the truck when they get their new logo on it.

Erie County Fair

We have the biggest county fair in the country right down the street from our house this week. We went a few times but kept forgetting our camera but we remembered it tonight. All Kendall wanted to do is look at all the animals. However, she likes them from a distance and not too close to her. We went to the petting zoo, looked at all the dairy cows, saw the piglets and calves, sheep, camels, you name it we saw it. We also ate way too much food. But it was all worth it. Becca Update

Here is the latest on Becca Burns. They finally thought that they had a disgnosis of Wilson's Disease which is when a person's body can't break down the copper in foods that they eat. So she hasn't been breaking down any copper which has been destroying her liver. So they started the change of diet and they were getting ready to start medicines and meet with the transpant specialist to see if she needed a transplant. Then on Friday a doctor called them that their doctor called for a second opinion and thinks that it could also be something else. So he wants them to come down to see him in Pittsburg ASAP to get come more tests to rule this other option out. So they are sort of back to square one but hopefully meeting this doctor and getting this final test will finally diagnose her disease. Second issue is that they got Rachels (their 8 month old) blood tested to make sure she was doing alright since it could be a one in four chance that she can have something similar and her liver enzymes came back high like Becca's did. Not quite as bad but they are concerned that she might have something as well. So needless to say they are at wits end and not knowing what to do next. Please keep praying for them and the girls. They are doing all they can to stay strong and sane but as you can imagine they are worried about the health of both of their girls. I'll keep you posted and let you know what happens in Pittsburg. Kingdom Bound Update

Enemy Opposition had a great year at Kingdom Bound this year. They had some great demos with minimal injuries. Three of the guys shared their testimonies and gave a short message about Christ. We sold a lot of merchandise and everyone loved the new shirt designs that Jake made. We sold out of a lot of stuff so that was a plus. Here are some great photos of the event. Please keep praying for EO. They still have a lot of events this month and Trevor is getting pretty burnt out. But he also loves doing it.

Enemy Opposition

Trevor's skatepark ministry, Enemy Opposition, has a lot of events during the month of August. The guys are going to be really busy setting up ramps and riding every weekend. Take a look at their new website. It has a list of events, videos, pictures and more. Trevor has spent the last few weeks re-designing the website to look new and updated. Hopefully they will get an online store up again so keep an eye out for some new merchandise. Please keep EO in your prayers this month, that they will be safe during the events and that they will get the message of Christ across during their demonstrations.

Buffalo Garden Walk

Every July they have a Garden Walk in downtown Buffalo and it has the most beautiful gardens and flowers you've ever seen. You wouldn't think that you would find these kind of gardens in the middle of the city but they are there! Kendall loves smelling flowers and she was having a blast looking at the ponds with fish swimming in them. She wanted to get in with them and swim. Here are a few pictures of what we saw.

Kendall got this horse a while ago but she has all of a sudden started playing with it all the time. She likes to eat snacks on it, watch cartoons on it, rock, and even tries to stand up on it which I have to always be telling her not to. She is becoming quite the little daredevil. She takes after her daddy.

Lift Concert

Trevor's band Lift played at this hot rod show at a church on Saturday. They did a great job. There wasn't a ton of people there but it was fun. My sister, Kendall and I went to watch him and Kendall was loving playing with the rice station. She was just about able to reach stuff so we had to let her stand on our purse and knees to be able to play with the toys. But she had a blast.

Our New Temporary House!

Well we are basically all moved in to our new house. The church is allowing us to move into the parsonage so that we can keep looking for a house to buy but not have to sign another lease for our apartment. It is really nice to have our own space with a lot of storage. We have a full basement with my own laundry. I was so excited the other night when I did all my laundry right downstairs and didn't have to bring it to my mom's to do or pay for it at my apartment. Kendall is adjusting well. I'm not sure if she gets that we are living here now instead of our apartment but I think she'll get used to it. Here are some pictures of it. Hope everyone is doing well. I'll post more soon especially since I finally have high speed internet and not dial up so it doesn't take near as long to post.

Kendall's Bathrobe

Kendall loves her bath. We have given her a bath almost every night since she was born just as a part of her night time routine to make her more sleepy. We found this robe that I think we got for her baby shower and it fits her so good now and she loves to wear it. Also notice the hair is growing in! Maybe I can put it in a ponytail soon. Ha yeah right.

Here is a little update on Becca. They had their appointment to go over the biopsy results and the doctor said her liver is damaged about a 3-4 on a scale of 1-4 (4 being the worst) and also a 3-4 on the inflamation scale as well. But they still don't know what is causing it all for sure. They sent some results and more bloodwork down to Pittsburg to a liver specialist so now they are waiting on the results from that. The doctor here though thought that if it was caught and stopped here soon that she would go on to live a normal healthy life and that there is enough good liver still left to keep and regenerate. So I'll still keep you posted but keep praying that it turns out to be a good diagnosis or at least easy to fix.

Two different kids!

Kendall has been so funny lately. Some days she wants to be all dolled up with her hat, sunglasses, dress and purse. Then others she wants to be naked and jump all over things. It's so much fun to see their personalities come out and see their imagination work.

Here is the latest on Becca...quick history first. The pediatrician has been watching Becca's stomach because it has always seemed to be distended/bloated. So about a month and a half ago they did a ultrasound on her belly and found that she has an enlarged spleen and liver. So then they did blood work and found that her liver enzymes were high for like 4 weeks straight. So her pediatrician sent them to a specialist at Children's hospital and he wanted to do a biopsy to get more definite answers. Last week they did the biopsy and it went well. They get the results this Thursday and will know more definite answers to her problems. It's just weird because she is a perfectly happy kid who loves to play and be normal so you wouln't even know anything was wrong. So just keep praying. The biopsy doctor said at a quick glance at the sample it didn't look good and even mentioned the word transplant in a sentance so Jake and Betsy are a bit worried with good reason. So please keep them all in prayer. I'll try to get a picture of her up so that you can put a face to a name.

Trevor's Missions Trip

Trevor leaves a week from Sunday for England with 3 Enemy Opposition guys. They will spend a week in Stratford Upon Avon and another week in Birmingham at a couple of skate parks doing ministry. Please keep them in prayer. Also, please be praying for Jake as he has to stay home from the trip to take care of Becca (his 3 year old daughter who is having problems with her Liver). I'll post more about that tonight or tomorrow.

Can't get a moment alone!

I'm sure all you mom's will agree that you can't get just one minute alone somewhere without one of the kids following you. I was getting ready the other day and Kendall just comes in the bathroom with a coloring book and crayons, lays down and starts to color. Then she wanted to imitate what I was doing so I gave her a small mirror and her own brush to use. I know I know! She doesn't have any hair yet but we can pretend anyways.

Kendall's First Boo Boo!

Well it was bound to happen sometime soon. She was at her Grammy's the other day and fell going up the driveway with shorts on so of course she skinned her knee a little bit. She was a trooper though and didn't cry very much at all. At least I wasn't there to see it all happen or I probably would have cried for her. It's healing up quite good now.

New Wagon and Potty Training!

These two topics have nothing to do with one another but I didn't want to do two posts tonight. Kendall got a wagon for her birthday back in November and we are finally getting to use it now with the great weather. She loves riding in it and she likes to bring Elmo along for the ride as you can see. She loves looking for birds and dogs while we walk. Secondly, we are venturing into the potty training adventure. She does really good going to the potty when we put her on we just need to work on her telling us when she needs to go. This weekend while we are home we are really going to try to train her so pray that all goes well. I'll let you all know how it goes.

Smarty Pants Kendall!

Kendall is down to only using a pacifier when she sleeps. However, throughout the night they usually fall through the crib slats and are on the floor by morning. Saturday morning I was getting ready and I didn't hear her for a minute so I went to see what she was up to (silence=trouble). I couldn't find her and then I saw her. She was lying under her crib sucking on the binky that she climbed under there to get. She knew that if she came out with it we would take it away so she was happy as can be underneath her bed. It was so funny. Kids are just too darn smart sometimes.

I realized that we hardly ever take pictures of Kendall with us so we did the other night. I'm sure if you have kids you know what I mean. You just always take pictures of them and forget to include yourselves. Her Auntie Amy also bought her this Minnie ears hat while we were at Disney. As you can tell she wasn't too thrilled with me putting it on her for a picture. Thanks Amy for the ears! She'll like them eventually!

It's a boy!

We had our sonogram on Friday morning and we were hopeing for a boy just so we could have one of each so we were very excited to hear her say that it was in fact a boy. Here are the pictures. One if of the face, arm and hand and the other is of well...the boy part! When we ask Kendall where her baby brother is she points inside my belly button which is so cute. Daytona Beach Vacation

Well, we are back from vacation and it was pretty good. The end was great with hot weather but the first three days were cold and rainy so that put a little damper on things. But all in all it ended great. We hung out at the beach a lot which Kendall was a little scared of at first. We also went to Magic Kingdom at Disney one day which we loved. That place is just amazing! Kendall had fun until it came time to meet Mickey. She didn't like that part at all. She loves Mickey on TV but this one is a bit bigger. I'll have to post more pictures later but here are some for now.

We are heading out tomorrow night for sunny Daytona Beach, Florida! We can't wait to get away and have some hot weather. We are going down with a bunch of my family and we rented a beach house. It is going to be a great time but crazy with everyone there. I'll post pictures when we get home.

Weekend Update!

Well, the snow and ice are slowly starting to melt but our landlord thought it would be a good idea to break the ice off of the roof to stop some leaks. However, when they did this a massive piece of ice fell and smashed our new grill that we got last summer. So we called our landlord and hopefully they will cover the cost of it. Of course they haven't called us back on it yet. On a better note Kendall had a fun time jumping on her mattress while I was changing the sheets on her crib. She likes when it's down on the floor and she can jump on it better.

Baby #2

Most of you probably have heard already but for those who haven't yet Trevor and I are expecting baby #2 in September. We are excited and scared all at the same time. Now that it's all happening I don't know how much harder two will be instead of just the one. But we'll figure it all out as it happens! Wow! We are getting hit with major snow this weekend. I think that we have about 3 feet of snow just from last night and today. But we've had a really mild winter so I guess we were bound to get hit some time here. Hope everyone is keeping warm. Here are some pictures of the storm and of Kendall. I got her all dressed for church in this cute sweater and hat this morning and we couldn't even make it there. So I figured I'd at least let you guys enjoy her picture. Here are some new pictures of Kendall. She has four teeth now, two on the bottom that came in first and now her top two teeth are almost all the way out. It's too cute when she smiles with them showing now! We also moved her into the big tub. She cried at first but now she is used to it. She is getting smarter every day. She says cracker, ball, up, and makes a few animal sounds when you ask her to. She is just such a joy to watch grow up.

A Green Wisconsin Christmas!

(Sorry! Something was wrong with the pictures I posted. Let's try this again.) We spent Christmas with Trevor's family in Eau Claire, WI this year. The weather was pretty good. A little ice but no snow for Christmas. We try to do every other year there so this was our year to travel. We decided to fly this time and see how it was. Let me tell you that we will never fly Northwest Airlines again. They were so terrible. I think we might just take the time and drive it. Plus we barely had enough room to pack presents to take home and if Kendall gets bored or wants to get out we can at least pull over and let her do that. I'll tell more details of our terrible flights later if you want but back to Christmas. We went to the Mall of America in Minneapolis which is always fun and we got to finish our Christmas shopping for his family. Then we just had a relaxing Christmas Eve at his parents house with the family after going to church in the morning. On Christmas day Trevor and I went to the movies to see The Pursuit of Happiness. I really recommend it. It was really good! And then we went home and relaxed. It was great to get away and have a time of relaxation and a break from the usual stuff here in New York. Kendall's Big Mess!

Well, while Trevor was on duty watching Kendall while I was at work she got into a little bit of trouble. Kendall came out into the living room with some clothes in her hands and he wondered where she got those from. So he followed her into her room and this is what he found. Her whole drawer was emptied out onto the floor. So we've learned that what they say is true. Once they learn to walk it's a whole new ball game. Please be praying for us. We are all kind of sick with head colds and we are supposed to fly to Wisconsin for Christmas next week and are afraid for Kendall's ears. So just pray we get better quickly and can still make the trip. Trevor's parents are so excited we are coming so we really need to be better soon! Thanks!

Trevor's First Sermon!

Trevor gave his first message in Fuel this past Sunday morning. Fuel is the Sunday School program for middle school and high school students at The Hub. Trevor leads worship for Fuel every week but this week he got to speak his heart on what true worshippers are. We have been doing a series on worship and everyone thought it would make sense for Trevor to give a sermon since he's the one that the teens look to as their example. He did a great job! If you want to listen to it you can download it as a podcast on iTunes. Just do a search for "The Hub Podcast" in the iTunes store and it will give you some choices and just find the one that has Trevor's name on it. Oh yeah it's free too.

Kendall's First Birthday!

Kendall turns one tomorrow and we had her birthday party at Grammy and Papa's house on Sunday. Kendall was a little overwhelmed by everything but it was a great time. She got a lot of cute toys and clothes and had fun playing with all the other kids. Here are some pictures from the day. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Hope you all had a great day and thanked God for all the blessings that He's given us over the past year. I know we are very thankful. We went to my (Kristy) mom's house for dinner with about 20 of my family. It is always crazy when my family gets together but also fun at the same time. We are heading to Wisconsin for Christmas in a few weeks and we can't wait to see Trevor's family. Here are a few pictures of Thanksgiving. Brushing Teeth!

Well Kendall has two little teeth on the bottom and our dentist said it would be good to start to brush them just with water to get her used to the whole idea. He gave her a little toothbrush to use. I decided I would try it this morning and she did really well with it. In fact as you can see by the pictures she cried when I took it away. Hopefully she'll get some more teeth soon. Actually never mind that whole teething process is a pain (literally)!

This was Kendall's first Halloween and it was a great one. The weather held up nicely so that worked out well. Daddy and Kendall's costume was a hit. As you can see Kendall was a ladybug and Trevor was a leaf that she was resting on. And yes Trevor did make his costume all by himself. It will be my turn next year to dress up with her so that should be fun. I'll have to start brainstorming now what we can be. Hope you all had a great Halloween!

Enemy Opposition

I know that some of you have no idea what it all entails so hopefully this will give you a better idea! It's pretty amazing and hopefully you'll get to see them do a demonstration in person sometime. Terrible Storm

We had a terrible storm on Thursday night that has caused a state of emergency for all of Buffalo. We had really wet snow fall and it broke trees and power lines down. We were out of power for a day and no heat. But it finally came back on Friday night at 8:00 pm. They are saying that some towns will be out of power possibly until next weekend. Thankfully we have ours back!
